Community Umpiring Round A Success

On Wednesday 2nd May the Riddell Umpires hosted AFL Goal Umpire Chelsea Roffey, AFL Boundary Umpires Josh Mather and Jordan Andrews, and AFL Field Umpire Sam Hay for Community Umpiring Round. This Round in the AFL celebrates more than 7,000 registred umpires across community level, and all the club based umpires who commit thier time and energy into our grassroots football.

Chelsea, Josh, Jordan and Sam engaged in a training session with our umpires which began with a warm up before splitting off into the three disciplines, each of the AFL umpires had a skill drill that they ran during the night. After training the Riddell Umpires were fortunate enough to listen to the AFL umpires speak about their journey's as well as open the floor for a Q&A.

We were delgihted that Chelsea, Josh, Jordan and Sam could join us at training & we hope they had a great night.
