At training this wednesday the Riddell Umpires are proud to welcome 5 AFL umpires to assist with training as part of the AFL Community Umpire Round.
We will welcome Riddell Umpires AFL mates program mentor and field umpire Troy Pannell. Troy recently met AFL mentor program participants Matt Bonacci and Paul McGarry and the AFL luncheon and visited and provided some excellent feedback to fellow program participant Zac Martin at his ANZAC day match.
Troy Pannell who wears the number 28 shirt made his AFL debut in 2005 and is veteran of 132 AFL Games. Troy is joined by fellow field umpire
Jacob Mollison who wears shirt number 32. Jacob made his debut in Round 6 in 2008 and has officiated 110 AFL Games.
The Riddell Umpires also welcomes 3 umpires who have made their debut in 2014. Tim Lougoon is a boundary umpire who made his AFL debut in Round 5 and has currently umpired 2 games. He is joined by fellow boundary umpire Josh Mather who has umpired 5 AFL Games in 2014 and made his debut in Round 2. Last but not least is goal umpire Michael Craig. Michael made his debut in Round 3 and has currently umpired 3 AFL Games.
We thank the AFL for providing our umpiring group with this oppurtunity and we hope that everyone from the Riddell Umpires attends training as it will be one not to miss.
