The Riddell Umpires are proud to annoucne a new partnership deal with the Mac's Hotel in Melton.
The Mac's have been a great supporters of ours for the last few years, however in 2017 have enhanced the deal that will now involve all umpires having the Mac's logo on their umpiring shirts.
All umpires are asked to bring in their umpiring shirts into training ASAP so we can press the logos your shirt. There will be no cost to the umpire.

The Riddell Umpires 2017 season will kick off on Wednesday February 8th at MacPherson Park (Oval 1) on Coburns Road, Toolern Vale (Melton).
New Umpires can visit our Become an Umpire page to find out everything you need to know about umpiring. Our training page also has some important information.
Returning Umpires need to register online. Round 1 of the 2017 season begins on the 8th April.
It will be an exciting year at the Riddell Umpires with a new Senior Coach along with some exciting initiatives.

Umpire Registrations for the 2018 Season are now open to new and returning umpires.

Senior Coach Dinner Dance Address

Outgoing Senior Coach (pictured here with his wife Rachel) spoke to the group at our Annual Dinner Dance. See his speech below.
"Just over 7 years ago I was preparing to umpire a grand final at the Northern Football League when I received a phone call from the then General Manager of the Riddell Umpires Glen Shilling. He said he was looking for a new Coach and after 13 seasons of umpiring, I was interested in seeing the coaching side of our great sport. After meeting with Glen and the committee I was appointed as the Senior Coach in 2010.
